This fuse shackle is designed to be the planned weakest point in your recovery kit - meaning that if your MAXTRAX system becomes overloaded, this will be the first product in your recovery system that is effected. This soft shackle functions the same as the MAXTRAX Core Shackle. Control the uncontrollable with MAXTRAX's wide range of recovery tools in their recovery system, they're available online or in-store now. 

    The MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE has been designed and tested as part of the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM. The MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM is comprised solely of MAXTRAX products and has not been tested with any third party branded products. Critically, if the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM is overloaded the MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE is designed to be the weakest link, and the expected point of failure. Accordingly, YOU MUST USE a MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE in the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM during any vehicle recovery. Only use rated recovery points when connecting the MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE or MAXTRAX CORE SHACKLE to a vehicle.

    Performing a vehicle recovery is inherently dangerous and even if you have successfully completed a vehicle recovery before, you must assess each recovery session to ensure the safety of all persons involved, and to protect personal property (including the vehicles).
    The Rope Recovery Products perform a similar function to competitive products but are designed to be used solely within the MAXTRAX Recovery System to reduce some of the hazards associated with conventional recovery straps and associated devices
    You must take the unique attributes of the MAXTRAX recovery system into account when assessing the recovery situation

    Do not use a Rope Recovery Product with it tensioned over an obstacle such as a rock, tree trunk, or embankment!
    Doing so will likely cause damage to the Rope Recovery Product and may cause it to fail in an uncontrolled way

    You should inspect the rope recovery products for wear and damage: (a) Immediately prior to departing on a trip or journey, or during a routine planning or preparation session - and (b) Immediately prior to each use
    Prior to each use you are responsible for each of the following things: (a) Inspect the Rope Recovery Product for wear and damage, and that it is in safe wording order - do not use the product if it is worn to the extent that it may not work as intended or it may fail during use, or if it is damaged, or it may foul or damage other components in the MAXTRAX Recovery System, or it is otherwise not in Usable Condition.
